Toronto police are investigating after an unknown perpetrator opened fire at the U.S. Consulate in the city’s downtown core during the early morning hours of March 10.

Officers responded to a call for a shooting at the American consulate at 5:29 a.m., the Toronto Police Service said in a March 10 X post.
