The White House promoted a network of patriotic gas stations that have slashed fuel prices while honoring President Donald Trump.

The Trump administration featured a Freedom Fuel Network gas station in Philadelphia in social media posts on July 8.

The American-themed gas station advertised $3.47 per gallon, which is about 50 cents less than the average price in Pennsylvania, according to data from the American Automobile Association.

The $3.47 price tag was made to honor President Donald Trump, the 47th President of the United States.

“Thanks Trump for saving me some money,” a gas station customer said in the video released by the White House on Wednesday.

The Trump Administration stated that it is not in a partnership with the Freedom Fuel Network.

“The Administration is not involved in the company, nor has the Administration given the company any funding,” a White House official told the Epoch Times in a statement on Wednesday.

The official noted that the White House’s featured video was made to applaud Freedom Fuel Network for “taking the lead” on lowering gas prices on the East Coast and suggested other companies “should follow.”

“There is no other entity or person subsidizing the lower gasoline costs,” the White House official added. “They are simply reducing their margin to make prices at the pump more affordable.”

The Freedom Fuel Network has 25 locations across Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

The Epoch Times reached out to the Freedom Fuel Network for additional information on how it was able to cut costs and if it will expand to additional states.

The promoted rate at the company’s gas stations is still higher than the average price for a gallon of gas one year ago, when the cost of a regular gallon of gas in the Keystone State was $3.30.

In New Jersey, where the company has five locations, the average price for a gallon of gas is $3.86 as of July 8, 2026.

The average price for a gallon of gas in the Garden State one year ago was $3.10.

As of Wednesday, the average price for a gallon of gas across the nation was $3.79.

Gas prices initially surged but have since fallen after the United States and Israel attacked the Iranian regime on Feb. 28, which responded by closing the Strait of Hormuz.

The Strait of Hormuz is a crucial waterway which was used to

one-fifth of the world’s oil and gas before the conflict in the Middle East broke out and disrupted operations.

, but prices have not returned to pre-war levels.

Tensions on the waterway remained high on Wednesday, as Trump suggested in a press conference that he might reinstate a blockade against Iranian shipping.

“We may put it back, the blockade,” Trump revealed to reporters from Turkey during a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Trump said that the blockade will only be for Iran while he declared the ceasefire was effectively over.

“They are behaving very badly, as they have for 47 years, and we hit them hard last night,” Trump added, while suggesting the United States could retaliate against Iran with another round of strikes on Wednesday night.

The U.S. Central Command later on July 8 announced that U.S. forces had launched strikes on Iran for a second day in a row.
