On Tuesday, December 3rd, Stratos Jets, a leading private jet and chartered flight provider in the United States, announced a brand-new partnership to enhance customer experience. Stratos Jets revealed that the company has partnered with BitPay, an application that focuses on cryptocurrency payments and transactions. Specifically, this means that Stratos Jets will now begin accepting cryptocurrency for private jet charter payments.

New way to pay for private jets
The partnership between Stratos Jets and BitPay will now allow customers to pay for their business jet charters directly with BitCoin and other cryptocurrency forms of payment. The BitPay application accepts over 100 different cryptocurrency coins and tokens that can be used to book private jet charters. This partnership allows immediate and instant transactions for all users.

This new form of payment enhances the experience for many customers across the world. Specifically, accepting cryptocurrency coins and tokens reduces transaction fees for many customers. For example, the transaction fee to pay with cryptocurrency is only 1.5% compared to the 4% transaction fee associated with paying with a credit card. This will be specifically beneficial to international customers, as they will no longer need to convert their currency or pay additional foreign transaction fees.
The President of Stratos Jets, Joel Thomas, spoke about the new partnership. Thomas stated,

Specifically, Stratos Jets formed the BitPay partnership due to the potential for future growth in the cryptocurrency industry. Specifically, with the recent election of President Donald Trump in the United States, Stratos Jets believes that the crypto market is poised for unprecedented growth.
