BRONSON, Fla. (WCJB) – The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) is investigating the Levy County Sheriff’s Office’s finance director over concerns about her use of agency money.
Sheriff Bobby McCallum fired Finance Director Christina “Nicole” Gore on Monday after discovering “irregularities” in credit card statements and other agency money.

Gore has worked for the sheriff’s office since June 2015. In 2017, she was awarded Employee of the Year and was promoted to finance director on Dec. 30, 2019.
McCallum requested FDLE’s Gainesville office open a criminal investigation into the matter.
