Multiple Toronto police officers have been charged for allegedly helping tow truck drivers engage in criminal activity, according to sources cited by multiple media reports.
The officers are accused of trafficking and leaking information, including addresses of individuals targeted for violence, to criminals in the tow-truck industry as well as hitmen. The intended targets reportedly included police officers, though further details on other individuals whose information was leaked has not been revealed.
