Health Canada has issued a warning to Canadians about counterfeit weight loss medications being sold in stores and online.
In the safety advisory, the health agency says fake versions of semaglutide and tirzepatide have been found online and in stores. The authorized version of the drugs are sold under brand names such as Ozempic, Wegovy, and Zepbound.
