The U.S. State Department has revoked the visa of one Honduran government official and refused the visa application of another after they were accused of interfering with their country’s 2025 presidential election. Visa restrictions were also imposed on another unnamed person accused of undermining democracy in Honduras.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed the revocation of Mario Morazan’s visa and the rejection of Marlon Ochoa’s visa application.
