A member of Parliament who has been a target of Chinese foreign interference says Canada should proceed with caution as it tries to mend its trading relationship with Beijing.
NDP MP Jenny Kwan says that while the government needs to expand its trade ties, it must also protect Canada’s sovereignty and democracy.
