And since the pandemic, solo travel’s popularity has reached new heights, says Alexandria Sanchez, consumer marketing manager for G Adventures, a small-group adventure-travel company. When travel came to a halt during the COVID-19 shutdown, many people realized how important traveling was to them. Once they were able to start taking trips again, they were eager to get going—even if that meant doing it on their own.
